Coking Plants
- Detarring of process gases by means of wet-type electrostatic precipitators
Ore Beneficiation
- Cleaning of process and secondary gases from sintering, pelletizing and reduction plants using electrostatic precipitators (MEEP technology, for example), scrubbers or fabric filters
Pig Iron Production
- Rough cleaning by means of dust catchers or cyclones
- Fine cleaning using annular gap scrubbers or dry-type electrostatic precipitators
- Energy recovery with top-gas expansion turbine
- Casting shop dust collection by capturing via exhaust systems and cleaning in electrostatic precipitators or fabric filters
Oxygen Steel Plants
- Wet dedusting of converter offgases using annular gap scrubbers
- Capturing of secondary emissions via exhaust systems and dedusting by means of precipitators or fabric filters
- Lurgi-Thyssen (LT) Steel Gas process
Electric Steel Mills
- Combustion and cooling of primary gas in boiler components, with gas/air coolers as required
- Capturing of secondary emissions via exhaust systems and dedusting by means of precipitators or fabric filters
- Combined cleaning of primary and secondary offgases in central collectors
Rolling Mills
- Gas cleaning in downstream steel processing facilites in rolling mills
