Monitoring audit according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and SCC** successfully completed..
In May 2009 the second monitoring audit by TÜV Rheinland according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and SCC** took place.
It was confirmed that GEA Bischoff developed and established an effective system to the fulfillment of its politics and goals with it all requirements of the standards are fulfilled.
New order from Korea Zinc Co.
On April 20th 2009 GEA Bischoff received an order for 1 horizontal dry electrostatic precipitator from Korea Zinc Co. Ltd. The off-gases from a new lead smelter in Onsan, South Korea will be cleaned.
With this contract Korea Zinc Co. Ltd. continuous the longtime cooperation with GEA Bischoff, who since the year 1993 supplied 11 dry and 20 wet precipitators as well as various other gas cleaning equipment to this client.
Preliminary certificate for a new gas cleaning plant for AGC Flat Glass
GEA Bischoff SAS has successful commissioned a new Gas Cleaning Plant for AGC Flat Glass in Boussois/Line 1, France. The preliminary acceptance certificate was signed right after start up. This new system is the second installed in Boussois after the one including a SCR plant started in 2006. The new Gas Cleaning Plant is one of the first on a oxyfuel float furnace.
GEA Bischoff got the contract for a Dry Horizontal Electrostatic precipitator from Corus Staal BV.
GEA Bischoff installs turnkey for Corus Strip Products in Ijmuiden/Holland an ESP for cleaning the exhaust air from a sinter cooler. The highlights of the system are low maintenance and low energy consumption as well as high efficiency.
Gas taken over successfully at VALE INCO’s Thompson Smelter
Beginning Feb. 2009 the gas was successfully taken over by 2 hot gas electrostatic precipitators at a copper smelter in Manitoba. The plant is located approx. 300 km southeast of the Hudson Bay in Northern Canada. The plant’s erection in large part had to be done under extreme minus temperatures of minus 30 partially even down to minus 40 °C. Accordingly logistics as well as operational procedure often turned out to become a real challenge.
GEA Bischoff received an order for two LT-plants from Baosteel Meishan
GEA Bischoff delivers to Baosteel Shanghai at the production site Meishan engineering, special parts and automation control systems for gas cleaning plants behind two 250 t converter lines. Two LT (Lurgi-Thyssen) plants will be delivered for dedusting of the carbon monoxide laden gas using a four-field round-type electrostatic precipitator with a switch-over station for gas extraction. The main advantage of the LT process is the low energy demand and additionally the very low residual outlet dust concentration.
