GEA Bischoff S.p.A., Milan got the order from AGC Flat Glass Italy S.r.l. for an innovative Energy Recovery plant adopting Organic Ranking Cycle (ORC) technology for electric power generation.
The plant will recover energy from the heat content of the exhaust gas from the float glass furnace of AGC factory located in Cuneo (North West Italy) and will be integrated in the existing gas cleaning plant.
The application represents a good example of synergies among GEA with gas cleaning and heat exchanger competences and its Italian partner for the ORC module.
